This little fella has had a few more iterations today. I lengthened the legs and shortened the body. Then I shortened the legs again. I went back and forth on the body colour, between white and pink. Then I tried out various facial expressions, including a blank one. Decided I actually prefer an expression. Which lead to trying just eyes, eyes with a mouth, eyes with eyebrows, no pupils, coloured pupils and all the variations I could imagine. There’s been some very alien looks leaping off the page, I can tell you..

However, this is the result at the end of today’s drawing session. I think I’d now like to try out some action poses and reactions. I’m hoping that could help tweak any potential design niggles. Can I still keep that cute cartoonish style I love to draw? Of course I can, there’s always a workaround.
